sangreine: flirty (imperial)

[ She wouldn't have minded kissing him before he got away, but she's really just stalling. Why is this so nerve wracking?? She takes the stereo remote out and uses it as an excuse to turn and pause the music. ]

So... part of the reason this took so long is that I was studying different types of dancing from my part of the world. I thought you might like to see it. I went through a few until I found one that seemed to fit -- well.

[ Clearing her throat and pulling out something small which her hands fiddle with. ]

Stand there, okay? No moving other than to turn in a circle.

[ On goes the music again, this time the distinct flutter of a Spanish guitar. Aliza flicks her fingers and they click in rapid succession -- she's put on a pair of castanets. There's a reason she chose this particular dress with the flared gown and the lace top. It's for flamenco dancing. ]

[ Thanks to Venti the music is on point, and Aliza proceeds to do a dance for him, the style suiting her perfectly -- emotional, dramatic, with lots of steep back bends and turns. As soon as she's moving her nerves are gone. The castanets take full advantage of her agility and speed. She moves more or less around him, though sometimes changing direction and sometimes remaining in one spot for a moment. Her eyes mostly look demurely down, as is customary for flirtatious dancing, only every now and again flicking up to meet his gaze. ]

[ When it's over, her nervousness threatens to flood back in, but instead she flips the music to something softer and waits to see what he thought. ]
