APPEARANCE
Saya is a petite woman who looks substantially younger than her true age. Her slight stature belies her strength, she is also incredibly agile and quick. As a Chiropteran Queen she stopped aging once reaching peak fertility (early adulthood/late adolescence) but can pass as a student. She has black hair (floor length upon waking from hibernation but later cut into a pixie cut or chin length bob) and a pale complexion with Asian features. Her eyes are red, passing as brown when she is calmer but growing brighter when agitated or when fighting.

PERSONALITY
Due to the frequent hibernation pattern of her species and waking from stasis with total amnesia, Saya's personality can vary widely depending on how recently she awakened, the personalities and encouragement of the people around her after waking, and how much of her memories/habits have been brought forth. ♛ As a recent hatching: After waking from hibernation, Saya relies on whimsy and instinct. She has no concept of social norms nor much of a personality, is apt to be carelessly destructive. Her moods tend to shift quickly from delighted to pouty to playful, with flashes of high temper and distaste if pushed. She is effortlessly charming and casually affectionate. She is substantially influenced by the personality, habits, and encouragement of the people who first find her and she initially imprints on.
♛ Before memory recovery: While this depends greatly on the influence of her new found loved ones, Saya tends to be kind and considerate, energetic, and stick close to the few people and things she knows. She has a tendency to be selfish and shows flashes of being put out when denied something she wants, which can veer toward high temper if pushed. She can be protective and possessive, but this is more mild than later on when more of her memories emerge. There is a great deal of sadness and loss about not remembering her past, but as flashes or memories make themselves known she begins to question herself and withdraw from people.
♛ Once discovering more memories: As she learns more about herself, Saya tends to devolve into black and white thinking, isolate herself, and take very martyr-ish actions, even when it hurts the people she cares about (and sometimes specifically to hurt them, so they will stay out of the danger she believes she represents). Saya is softer spoken, much less talkative, and quietly devastated during this period, often coming to believe she needs to stop existing in order to keep people safe. She can be cold, even cruel, and aloof.
♛ In bloodlust: When denied blood products for too long or when fighting, or to a lesser extent when emotionally pushed by a loved one, Saya can get violent and labile. She has a natural fighting instinct and it takes over when she is feeling threatened. She experiences extreme guilt over these actions once coming to her senses. If subject to game mechanics which affect her impulse control or morality, Saya's bloodlust can turn dangerously playful, like a cat toying with a mouse.

After naively freeing Diva from where Joel had imprisoned her, Saya watched as Diva burned the estate. Having accidentally created a Chevalier, or blood servant, from her companion Haji, Saya began a lifelong quest to hunt down and kill Diva to stop her from endangering other humans.
In between 30 year hibernations, Saya appeared at various times throughout history, including the Russian Revolution, the Vietnam War, and early 2000's Okinawa. Aided by Haji and Red Shield, the organization Joel's descendants founded to fund and support the battle against Diva, Saya vows to stop Diva and her Chevaliers from extinguishing humans and populating the world with Chiropterans.
After the Vietnam War, custody of Saya's hibernation chrysalis was given to George Miyagusku, a Japanese-American restauranteur who settled in Okinawa. After losing his family, George found new purpose when sitting with Saya's hibernating form, and vowed to live to the fullest. He adopted two boys, Kai and Riku, and later adopts Saya as his daughter after she awakens and George can't manage to kill her. George later is turned partially into a Chiropteran via experimentation and Saya is forced to kill him, her blood turning him into dust and red gems, one of which Red Shield places in a specialized katana which she uses to fight Chiropterans and Diva's organization.

Speed and Agility
Incredibly quick and agile, in canon Saya and other Chiropterans can move faster than human eyes can follow. In game she will have enhanced speed but not to that level.
She also has extremely good reflexes and an innate sense of how to fight and win.
Strength
Very strong for her petite size, Saya's canon strength is comparable to fully formed Chiropterans many times her weight and stature. In game her strength will be far greater than expected from someone of her slight build, but not as substantially increased as her speed and reflexes.
Healing and Stamina
Saya's stamina, so long as she consumes blood regularly, is substantial (if she doesn't get sufficient blood she will become weaker and eventually pass out, if using a great del of energy she will require more blood than usual) In canon, Chiropterans heal instantly from all injuries unless exposed to the fresh blood of their opposing Queen, including being able to instantly reattach severed limbs and have them immediately back to full strength. In game she will heal quicker than normal, nothing near canon level but perhaps several days ahead of what one would expect of an unenhanced human.

♛ Saya eats immense quantities of food, an attempt by her body to compensate if she is not receiving enough blood (also she just really likes food)
