[Seasons] De-hibernation Plot Brainstorming Post!

Hey EllipsaFam!

For those not aware, Saya has approximately a year until her 30 year hibernation starts, after which she'll have total amnesia. Obviously, this sucks. She'd like to not do that anymore. That's where you come in! I'll be doing a longer term plot to help get rid of Saya's hibernation-amnesia cycle, which will involve several characters and their powers/abilities as well as several failures before succeeding. The mods have said I can plot out what I want to do so that's what we're doing here. I want to involve as many characters as would like to be involved, so let's plot some shit!

Be aware that anything we plot is subject to mod approval so things might have to get tweaked some.

Here's what I want to do:


Part 1: FETCH QUESTS
I want to do several quests (as many as are interesting and people want to do!) where Saya + whoever all go out and get ~rare magic items~ (which we can make up as long as the mods approve it!) that can be used to help fix her hibernation problem. These should be difficult to get for maximum fun. Here's what I want to know from you:

+ What powers and abilities does your character have that can be used for a cool fetch quest? (ie, can they breathe underwater? Can they enhance the magic inside things? Whatever you think would be fun!)
+ Do you have any ideas for magical things that could stop a hibernation or allow someone to keep their memories that sound sufficiently awesome to find and collect?

Part 2: We're doing MAGIC-SCIENCE, BABY!
Saya will want to involve the Research Center and also anyone who has experience with science or magic to help tweak her body so she has no more need to hibernate. DNA experts and scientists of all kids are welcome, as well as anyone who has powers or abilities that you want to play with! I'm totally open to creativity here. But be aware that there will be at least two failures before success. The Nintendo Three, if you will. If you want to participate in this part your character has to be open to trying again even after there are some Consequences for Saya after attempts which don't work.

+ What Sciencey Stuff your character can do that we could use for this?
+ What materials from either Saya (blood and tissue samples) or from fetch quests would be necessary and/or cool to use for this?

Part 3: MURDER FRIENDS and other consequences
Saya has a berserker mode that she will be worried about activating with the cure attempts. (I haven't decided whether that will happen or not.) ICly she will want Badass people present when they attempt the hibernation fixes, just in case she goes out of control and needs to be contained. These people will need to be prepared to kill her if necessary and she will make that clear.

Failure consequences I am considering:
+ Saya goes to sleep for a short while and wakes up with amnesia, which she recovers from in a couple of days
+ Extreme Bloodthirst for a day or two
+ Weakness and general loss of her abilities for a little bit, which makes her need constant touch
+ MAYBE berserker mode?! Depends what people want to mess with.

Willing to agree to murder y/n: Yep! He will owe her one by this point probs after Knives stuff I MEAN WHAT I said nothing. He's also up for being the one to actually pull the trigger if someone else has mostly beaten her down but is struggling or would be more wounded by doing it.
Other failure consequences you'd want to be involved in: Pls let him help egg mode Saya again with a temporary total amnesia thing. I am also extremely volunteering him for helping Extreme Bloodlust. It's what his Spread Stick is for, but he'd be disappointed if she didn't also tap the vein directly.

I think I'll do one failure that has sleeping for a day and then extreme bloodlust + needs constant touch when she wakes, and one failure that's berserker mode + egg again when she revives. BEST OF ALL WORLDS.

It's not even the killing her thing she's worried about, it's the reason she wants a murderpact in the first place. No easy way to say "I did some war crimes but it wasn't actually me in control of my body".

Abilities which will help contain a berserk vampire queen: she can manipulate and control the shadows of others and is generally a talented warrior who can beat ass. Idk if her necromancy and ability to yank people's souls out matters but also that lol.

Other failure consequences you'd want to be involved in: Extreme bloodthirst. In that same vein (get it), Lunari have magical blood that Khaalida could be convinced to offer if it'll quell the urge for a little longer. The only problem with all of this re: Khaalida is that she does nothing for free, but she's willing to negotiate.

Abilities which will help contain a berserk vampire queen: Every single last ability he has within his very wide roster. He has battled Saya before and thus knows quite a bit regarding his queen's abilities.
Willing to agree to murder y/n: Probably, not since Rosen is so closely tied to Saya. He will definitely try his best to contain Saya but killing her is something he wouldn't and couldn't do.
Other failure consequences you'd want to be involved in: I'm honestly down for anything to happen between them, just because I'm curious to see where this all leads.

Li and I were chatting and we think it'd be fun to have Chuuya (below) and possibly Khaalida (above) hold Saya down and then Rosen can't kill her so Yuri steps in to do it for him. I am here for that drama and happy to give Rosen and Yuri this chance for interesting CR!

Saya will be telling Rosen about all this history probably in the house thread once she gets done hanging on him. She'll probably tell him to come see the bedroom he'll be staying in with her when he stays over and while in there she'll tell him and then probably lay on him a while. ♥

Willing to agree to murder y/n: murder is part of his career choice back home so yes. Bring him on for his questionable morals, keep him around for the surprising amount of sympathy he has for Saya going berserk mode.
Other failure consequences you'd want to be involved in: any and all! Chuuya is going to start questioning his life choices but his hometown got a bit mauled by a vampire apocalypse okay.

I am completely for this! I need CR for its own sake but yeah if Saya gets any hint about this ability she will absolutely ask for his help containing her (probably so someone can kill her, else he's stuck holding her down for a long time which is too risky for her taste).

Abilities which will help contain a berserk vampire queen: (Just gonna repeat this here but add to it) Kainé is skilled with wielding a pair of jagged looking twin swords and has natural enhanced speed and strength because her Gestalt was experimented on with legion blood. She is also very agile and acrobatic.

She is said to exist as neither Shade (shadowy monsters that roam the world), nor human by Grimoire Weiss. Due to being half Shade, she is also able to wield magic an ability as It is not something humans can do.

Some of her attacks are to shoot orbs and general blasts from her aura that look like a mixture of lightning and white magic. She is also able to send arcs of magic along the ground to trip up her enemies.

She can also make a shield of her lightning magic around her. Her magic itself is blue and white, as opposed to the black and red of Grimoire Weiss, her own Shade, and the other Shades (aka
other 'Maso' based magic) .

Another ability of hers is to sustain massive damage and still live even so much as being impaled by a giant spike.

Her body heals fast, but if she were to die completely, Tyrann would gain full control over her body making her go berserk. Only one person has been able to bring her back from this.

She is known to do anything to save her friends/those she cares about at all costs even aiding in the extinction of humanity. She has little regard for her own safety and will even go as far as to sacrifice her own life if needed.

Willing to agree to murder y/n: Yes. She already promised.
Other failure consequences you'd want to be involved in: Bite her if bloodlust! Also volunteering for constant touch wink wink and fighting off berserker!Saya.

Willing to agree to murder y/n: Absolutely. He hasn't gotten to where he is by being shy about killing people, and even at his current canon point he'd be able to recognize a situation that wouldn't end well without death involved.

Abilities which will help contain a berserk vampire queen: Fire. So much fire. Sure, she heals, but she can only go so far if her tendons are half melted constantly, right? (I assume if she's more bio vampire, CAN SHE WALK AS A SKELETON?) He does run out of energy eventually, but it could buy a good chunk of time.
Also just in general he's immortal and can take a serious beating. Buy All The Time.

Honestly, canon has this things where immortal characters will use their bodies to protect the killable mortals and I am for it for Red Son to just meat shield for some of the squishies. (This is also fine in a fetch quest tbh). Drain the boy of blood, have the anemic immortal, though I have no idea what mix of fire demonic and celestial blood would do to her, might be wild. Or other terrible things. If she does lose her memories, that would also be fun just because he'd be so upset and then he'd have to contend with Those Feelings because he's a tsundere fuck who pretends he doesn't care as much as he does.

Abilities which will help contain a berserk vampire queen: Inhuman strength, speed, etc etc. Just Vampire Things. He's also his world's strongest hunter + has plenty of experience with those gone berserk.
Willing to agree to murder y/n: He'll need to learn about this ICly first, of course, but yes. He does have his gun with him here, which is his hunter weapon. It's only able to bring harm/death to vampires (although, tangentially, it can affect other non-humans in the game's setting). Apart from using bullets, it also produces metallic rose vines, which he's able to control as he wills, complete with blood-drinking thorns.
Other failure consequences you'd want to be involved in: Extreme bloodthirst! Zero can deal with quite a lot.
