A Very Happy Birthday
Your presence is requested
All of Kantera's (and Saya's) CR will get an invitation delivered to them, describing a two-part birthday event for Kantera on August 13! The first part is a formal tea ceremony (kimonos and yukatas provided) and the second part is a casual time at the karaoke bar. We hope you can make it! You can attend either or both as desired.
Gifts and cheer welcome!
Whether you bring them to the tea ceremony or the karaoke bar, we approve of spoiling Kantera in this house. Gifts are not required but Saya encourages you to make her husband fluster with a present.
Tea and a show
Wearing a red kimono and with her hair long and done up, Saya greets you at the front of their home and leads you into the lush garden, where the tea ceremony is taking place. They have a large selection of kimonos, yukatas, and all the accessories and someone will help you put it on if you need it. The garden is decorated with tatami mats, red parasols, and gorgeous flower arrangements in red and purple. The tea ceremony is an art form and Saya performs it with grace, making excellent green tea for all attendees to sample. After the ceremony, there is a reception with traditional Japanese finger foods such as onigiri, edamame, dumplings, takoyaki, and yakitori.
Karaoke and chill
Later that evening at the karaoke bar, the environment and dress is much more casual. There are snacks and drinks including a full bar and singing is optional, but encouraged. Saya starts the night off with a couple of songs in her stunning singing voice and then encourages anyone who would like to serenade the gathering to do so. Else, you are more than welcome to watch and applaud those who do choose to sing and mingle with the other invitees between songs.
IMAGE 1: Saya and Red Son - ref images below
DESCRIPTION: Saya (wearing a backless black cheongsam with red & gold flame details and a garnet and gold beaded bracelet, her eyes glowing red) approaching Red Son (wearing a red coat over a black high neck shirt) in a flirty/suggestive manner, Red Son is blushing and his hair is on fire/smoldering. Saya is a few inches shorter than he is.
Vibe is "they're a couple but she knows how to push his buttons and gets a kick out of doing it just because."
Character 1: Saya Otonashi
Image refs - body shape, hair, eyes
Outfit refs (first two closer to what I'm after, final one for the style of open back)
Character 2: Red Son

Pose example (that is Saya in the image if it helps, but her hair would be longer)
IMAGE 2: Saya and Sun Wukong - ref images below
DESCRIPTION: Saya (wearing a backless sundress in red or black) and Sun Wukong (wearing what's in below images), standing with their foreheads touching, Saya's hands on his face. She is maybe 6 inches shorter than he is and has to pull him down a bit/stretch upwards to do this.
Vibe is "soft/vulnerable moment where it's unclear whether this is shippy or just very close friends, but they just shared something Important."
Character 1: Saya Otonashi
Image refs - somedifferent ones from above to show her non-glowing eyes and more serious expressions
Outfit refs - backless black or red sundress, not terribly picky on details
Character 2: Sun Wukong
Image refs for body, fur, and clothing
Pose reference - more height difference & lower hand position to see more of the face/expression
Saya - OTA
Wearing a gorgeous and impeccably neat red kimono with her hair done half up fancily, Saya greets every guest with a bow and welcomes you to the tea ceremony. If desired, she will show you to the dressing area to change into a traditional Japanese attire.
After she performs the tea ceremony, Saya brings delicious green tea around to everyone to sample, in teacups featuring little dragon motifs. She also brings around Japanese snack food for everyone.
"I hope you're enjoying the party so far. Don't forget we have a karaoke portion coming up a bit later as well! I do hope you'll be able to come and celebrate with us."
Karaoke
Saya is more than happy to take the first few songs of the evening to get things started. First off, it's tradition now for Saya to sing Devil Went Down to Georgia (since she and Kantera met in Hell and she plays the violin, it was mandatory!). But she has a special guest: Lucifer himself, playing a golden fiddle. The two of them perform the song with all due flair and talent, taking full advantage of the humor.
After that, Saya sings a fun and upbeat song about everything being happy and fun in order to get things going. Her voice is strong and clear and gorgeous and she performs the song with high energy and a large amount of hope, especially given where her mood has been lately. Nothing less for her precious husband.
Following her performances, she can be found offering snacks to people, fetching drinks, and generally mingling. She approaches each person who sings to compliment them on their performance.
