It will likely be some time. It turns out when you spend most of your centuries long life hyper focused on a project and not actually socializing, you find yourself caught off guard a fair amount.
And I imagine you catch people off guard who have properly socialized. Really, I should resign myself to at least one blind sided moment in all our interactions.
