[An elevator's already standing open when Nemesis and Alizarin hop out of the portal, closing right behind them as they rush inside.

Even before the doors shut, Nemesis presses Aliza back against the elevator wall, leaning in for another kiss. Her hands can't do too much traveling lest Aliza end up on the floor, but hopefully enthusiasm can make up for the rest]

[ The floor? Please, what's she being taken for? Before Nemesis can kiss her Aliza shifts her weight around, making the elevator walls creak as she uses her inhuman strength against it for leverage. One foot makes the floor, the other leg bends up against Nemesis, too eager to see what those hands will do with a bit of privacy. But no kiss, not yet. ]

Better hit the button. [ Her amusement can be dangerous, and sounds it; this elevator isn't going anywhere without a little help, and she's not forgetting the offense of that pinch so easily, just biding her time. And then she allows a kiss, open and demanding, yanking Nem flush against her. They have several floors to pass, she'd just as soon spend the time productively. ]

Alizarin's eyes are lovely like this, and Doctor takes a moment to admire them before leaning in. He cups her cheek lightly with one hand, brushing his lips against hers without minding the lingering blood on them.

This isn't exactly what he meant by wanting to know how he tastes, but these things have a certain order you do them in, you know?]

She's also most likely to forget her manners, just a bit, moments after drinking, so while he might have intended for a fairly chaste brush of lips, she is somewhat less hesitant about it. I wanted to write this first as an apology. We've barely gotten to know one another but I do think I could have become closer to you if I hadn't let everything else get in the way. I'm sorry if you've noticed that I tried to put distance between us. It wasn't anything you did, but because I needed time to heal. Unfortunately, my time has run out.

I'm supposed to Graduate, but I know what I need to do. I lied when I said Serenity was transferred. I didn't want to endanger anyone for knowing the truth, but I wanted to tell you at least. She left on her own and is currently on the run and likely in hiding from whoever runs this place. She broke the rules and I plan to do the same.

Once, I thought I would go and be with my sister, but I now that I can't and I don't want to be in a place where I can't be with Serenity either. I know that will probably hurt you to hear and maybe even make you jealous that I chose her, but I want you to know that I do care about you. I just can't stay here. Please take care of yourself. If I can somehow see you again, I'd like to. Until then, try your best, okay? You're not alone, even if there is no one else left that's like us.

[At some point, there's a series of very loud knocks at ZRAEL's door. But when she opens the door, there's just a large bird plush in a basket! There's no name on the basket, but the bird is sitting on a large collection of sweet treats of all kinds. It's holding a large piece of heart-shaped chocolate between it's wings.]

[ She certainly has, some things are worth delaying more snacks for, so she gets up from the tea table. ]

I believe the prompt is to undress in front of someone or watch them do so, if you need a few minutes I can take care of that. [ Shyness, she has none of it. So, reaching back for her corset laces, curious if she can draw his attention away from his tea. ]

I thought it best to attempt a form of communication I can't divert into some manner of chaos; if this is unwelcome, I certainly understand that.  With the knowledge that I have no right to insist upon more of your time than I've taken, I'll come to the point: I owe you an apology.

Rest assured that I'm not seeking forgiveness, nor any response whatsoever.  You've asked for space, and I'll respect it to the extent this place and its strangeness permits.  I hadn't intended this much; however, someone requested that I consider my situation, and this is where it ultimately led.

Without belaboring the point overmuch, what I've said to you wasn't right, and it was nothing more than someone in pain lashing out because it felt easier.  It's hardly fair to blame you for not understanding what I haven't cared to share, but truly it's nothing unique: the thought of having hope frightens me, and so I did as every beast does when cornered.  Nothing you've done made me feel bad about myself.  I did those things on my own, and I thrash against any measure of hope because of my failure to find a better recompense to those I've wronged than to make sure I continue to suffer, evidently at any cost.

Even knowing you were most likely right about everything, I'm not certain I could receive it any better now, or that I'll be in any such position before my time runs out.  The only things I can promise are these: first, that if you care to know what I've done that I'd punish myself and everyone around me so, I owe you at least that much.  Second, that I'll consider what you tried to impart without asking any more of you.

Thank you for what you gave of yourself, I'll endeavor not to make it in vain.

[ Out in front of the hotel lobby, or at a street nearby, a purple motorcycle skids to a stop -- very literally skids, its rider planting a boot on the pavement and doing a sudden half-donut, the tires screaming and leaving marks on the pavement. ]

[ The motor shuts off, and Aliza pops off her helmet, shaking her hair out like a shampoo commercial. ]

[ Walking home from the conbini, Aliza is entirely lost in thought, her bag feeling oddly heavy in her hands despite her strength. She doesn't even notice she's approaching someone, or they've approached her, until far too late to be brushed off. ]

[ childe is reading a text on his phone, so he's not really paying attention either, so as soon as they collide he catches himself apologizing automatically too... until he realizes it's rin... and then he's confused, since she's giving him a similar response, except she's kind of devoid of emotion. ]

Day 506 - Dancing date

[ Aliza arranged for a unitmate to greet Doctor at the front door and bring him to the ​☆Z​RAEL​ theatre, moonlit of course, its velvet curtains lit with stars in the position colors of the unit: yellow, red, blue, and orange. Several intricate wooden lanterns cast dappled shadows and soft violin music plays in the background. There are plenty of lush recliners lined up facing the stage, which is -- ]

[ Transformed. Hanging from above, without blocking the moonlight, are collections of flowers and other foliage, particularly flowers that are both the purple and red of Doctor and Aliza's respective position colors: Fuschia Dark Eyes and Bearded Irises, with Clemantis vines climbing up the walls and Asiatic Starlette Lilies sprinkled throughout to brighten it up. She called in a lot of favors from Lupine for this. ]

[ To one side of the stage is a small table with a black velvet cloth covering it. Glittering drinks that float and sparkle like miniature galaxies are waiting there, along with several bite sized desserts that she clearly had help with. There's also a small box tucked among the treats. ]

[ Doctor gets a few moments to take this in before Aliza's voice is behind him: ]

[ Wearing a black flared gown with delicate red flowers splayed across the sheer corset top and down one arm, her smile is both pleased and jittery. She put her hair up for this, and even put makeup on. One has to admire the sheer amount of effort, if nothing else. ]

[As promised, Doctor has arrived in an outfit Aliza hasn't seen before. But who cares about him when there's all of this.

His eyes are wide when he turns to her, and they only get wider seeing what she's dressed up in.]

This is - so much. I'm lost for words.

Day 511

[That evening, Doctor invites Alizarin to the soft room of Heart Soldier's dorm.

The lights are dimmed to allow candles to provide some ambiance, and there are tables set up with a veritable feast of foods - everything from roasts to fruits to sweets, all prepared by Doctor, of course. His phone is set up to play soft, slow music, and it took quite some time going through the idol music available to find something suitable.

Doctor himself is in a backless number, with heels included. He smiles brightly as she comes in.]

Good evening, my dear.

[ Wearing an evening gown as instructed, Aliza shows up looking absolutely delighted, and it's a testament to her feelings for him that she barely looks at the food. ]

-- Well. Don't you look nice.

[ She walks over to him and paces a slow, admiring circle around him. ] Hmm. Yes, I do believe I like this. [ Then her arms slide around him. ] Everything is wonderful, but you especially.

Day 513, late evening

[ Aliza made sure via Caeli that Zhongli would have company tonight which let's just say for convenience it's not like it's unusual and asked Doctor to take the somewhat unusual step of staying with her instead of her going to HSS. She knows he doesn't want, hm, certain things in the dorm for the sake of his comfort, but she also knows that this man is no stranger to kink. She has a whole (lidded) box of clean new things in the corner for him to paw through, before hopefully pawing at her a while. She's in a great mood that can't possibly last long around here, why waste it? ]

[ However, that's not the only thing, or the first thing, she wants to discuss tonight. When she meets him at the door, she's holding her sketch book. ]

Come on in. Thanks for venturing down here for a change even though I don't have my new room yet. [ Just a tad impatient on that, but it's not the worst thing in the world. ]
