Ahh thank you, he's adorable. He'll have a lot of plush company in my room. [ the stuffed pup gets a little kiss on the nose ] I love animals, but they're afraid of me, so I really like collecting these.

Let's see... I have some from my fanmail, like a cute bat and a plush of a dear friend of mine, I have some that people have given me that remind me of them -- some dragons I really treasure, fluffy wolves, a phoenix, a pink dinosaur -- some prizes from the amusement park...

If there's something you want, just look at the camera and ask for it. You could hold up your writing for the fans to read. Sometimes they listen, and it certainly can't hurt.

There's no rush, of course. We shouldn't get mail for another few weeks.

Should we move on to the next place? The park is next closest, I think, but if you're hungry or thirsty we could visit the café first.

If you don't feel like walking, my unit has a flight power we can use. It's only a little faster, but some people seem to enjoy it if you don't mind heights. But you couldn't really write while up there, so... [ still, nonverbals count for a lot ] Up to you. I'm more than happy to walk.

[ don't worry, she's cootie-free! A brief and reassuring smile as she grasps his hand firmly, but not too tight. ]

Hang on then. [ And up they go! She takes the high enough to get over the buildings and watches to make sure he doesn't look too nervous. It feels like floating more than soaring, and they move at the speed of a slow jog. ]

[He does squeeze her hand a little tighter at first when they lift off, but he relaxes when he realizes they're not going to fall and they're moving slowly. He looks around below them, taking in the view he'd never get any other way and clearly a bit awed.]

Pretty neat, huh? If you want to go higher or lower or there's something you want to see, just point. Otherwise I'll head on over to the park.

[ Off to the park, then! She points out a few things as they make their way, nothing that would require him to answer. She brings them in for a soft landing near a big tree where she likes to rest or practice her violin sometimes. ]

Not bad, right? [ His hand gets a tiny squeeze before she lets go, as a thanks for trusting her. ]

[Safe on the ground again. Flying is nice, but it is a relief to to touch earth, all the same.]

You wouldn't be alone in that. A lot of people come here to rest and recharge. I sometimes like to practice music out here, or train with some of my friends who like doing that.

[He assumes so, since she mentioned karaoke as a place she likes to go.]

I'm an opera singer, or something like that. I don't have any memories of performing but I have the skill, so I figure I must have learned somewhere. I also play the violin and cello.

Of course, I'd be glad to. Sometimes after a rough game, some people get together and sing for each other -- but we also invite people to come listen and eat desserts and drink, if that's something they like doing to relax.

We all have to blow off steam somehow in a place like this, you know?
