Then she slips away, removing the toy and sending it onto the floor along with the rumpled blanket that was beneath him which she gently tugs from under his knees. Cleaning happens later, fortunately she's used to blood getting everywhere so she's well prepared. A clean, soft blanket is draped over him before she slides onto the mattress beside him, and if he'd like to collapse she'll gladly catch him. ]
[ Through the bond there was an initial rush of preening gratification, and then just before she lifted off of him a flash of uncertainty. Inadequacy mingling in, because she's clearly not enough for him as she is, and there are others who can give him that feeling without resorting to a box of plastic. It only lasts for a moment before she breaks physical contact to juggle logistical matters, and by the way she smiles at him it's clear that she's trying not to dwell on it. ]

[ Her hair doesn't change color much at all, just the slightest tint that would be a challenge to catch in this light. She's not lying when she says she liked it, it's just that when the flaring heat became a sleepy simmer, worry had set in. Fears that she's not what he really wants. If only she could be fighting or fucking all the time, her confidence would be much improved. ]

[ In the middle of deciding whether to say something, she decides there's no real need. After all, she has certain, hmm, tendencies that he's said he can't handle, and she finds that elsewhere. It's a little different because of her possessive nature (do as I say and not as I do is a Queen's motto for certain) but with a mental shrug she decides it's not worth fretting over. At least he asked, at least she can offer some of it. ]
