I'm not always great about taking advice, but I can do it when it's coming from someone who cares about me and is trying to help because they want to see me happy or whatever. What I get mad about most often is when people start talking about my life when they either don't know enough about me to be saying anything, or when I feel like it's more about them than about me. Like they're just trying to be right rather than support me.

Or when they compare my situation to other vampires they've known and say it's all the same, that upsets me too.

People shouldn't give advice when they don't know the situation

Yeah. But I'm trying to remember that they mean well even so, it really doesn't do anyone any good to argue.

Easy to say when I'm in a calm discussion instead of a heated one, I know.

No problem at all. I'm settling down more now anyway, so in general I lose my temper less. When I first arrived here I was much more volatile.

Arriving without any of your memories would make anyone off-kilter, I think

It's a bit different for me. My species hibernates for decades at a time, and when I wake up I don't have memories or language or much of a personality.

That's how I was at first, very much like a child. [ a little smile ] Tantrums and all.

Sort of, only in my current body. Physically I was the same as I am now, except my hair was really long.

About two months ago. 58 days.

Although we had a game this week that reverted me to that state for most of it. It made people older or younger, and for me there's very little difference.

It's okay to be surprised. Things around here get weird, and even the ones who have been here a long while can still occasionally get thrown for one.

Almost there. Don't be too surprised when I get enough food for six people. I have a really high metabolism.

I'm the worst person to ask, I like everything. But the milk tea is good if you like sweet drinks.
