Of course. I'll see you then.

[ Saya will definitely be there and definitely be looking as cute as she possibly can. ]

[ Hlasoh is dressed to impress! She's in a dress with a rather low neckline, and she's accumulated a few more accessories, too. She wears a pin in the shape of a flower in her hair. She smiles as she sees Saya, and takes an outdoor seat under an awning. ]

Thank you for taking this social call. It's lovely to see you again, Saya.

[ Saya has on a sundress with a high neckline and an open back, to accommodate her wings if she chooses to bring them out. She always looks annoyingly and effortlessly perfect and today is no exception. ]

And you, Hlasoh. Although it's nothing to thank me for, I was looking forward to it.

[nihilmancy]

[ Hlasoh lets a glimmer of attraction through in her cool expression. She's not ashamed to show interest. She glances momentarily at the menu, but quickly has her eyes on Saya.

This woman has been through a lot. She has a lot to worry about. Hlasoh thinks that she deserves to enjoy herself. ]

I am honored. How have you been?

[ The best way to get Saya to forget everything weighing on her is pleasant company, and Hlasoh certainly qualifies. She shoots Hlasoh a look that's a bit heated, and orders herself a double espresso. Usually she goes for sweet drinks, but strong is just as good. ]

Oh, you know. I have my hands in several things. I got a job at a nightclub where they pay me extravagantly just to exist in there as a vampire thanks to their theming, so I have more time for myself now. Yourself?

[nihilmancy]

[ She smiles coquetteishly. The interest certainly seems genuine. It might be a good thing that she's kept the afternoon clear.

She gets a regular coffee, dark roast. She's used to relying on caffeine to keep herself going. ]

Oh? That sounds rather lovely. I mostly do work at the research center, and do some independent learning of my own. But it turns out they'll pay you rather well for knowledge of advanced technology and I know a few things about that.

[ Might be, yes. ]

Oh? I suppose I'll be running into you quite a lot, then. That's where I'm having my tests run. Not so great an experience, so I could use a bright side to trudging down there.

I'll be sure to. And I'll see if there is any way that I can contribute. Let me know what room you usually have things done in, and I'll come by.

[ She puts her hand over Saya's on the table, gently signalling support. ]

[ Saya turns her hand slowly over so it's facing up, curling her fingers around Hlasoh's wrist. ]

I can text you with it. It varies depending on what I need done. But thank you, whatever room it's in.

Not at all. I'm glad to offer aid in what capacity I am able.

[ She's not the most sentimental woman, or the most open, but she's not going to just let this happen to somebody. Especially somebody she likes. ]

You look lovely today, by the way. But then, you always do.

Yes, well. I may have been fishing for compliments with the clothing choice.

It is convenient to wear backless things, though.

[nihilmancy]

Then I'll say it again. You're stunning. You make my heart race.

[ Hlasoh tilts her head, a little curious. She hasn't learned about the other form. ]

Why is that?

[sangreine]

[ Saya closes her eyes briefly, focusing. Listening. ]

I wouldn't call that racing. But I welcome the chance to get it there. [ Yes, she can hear heartbeats. ]

I can shift into different forms. One of them has bat wings. Silvery-white ones. Silver skin and hair. Most consider it my most beautiful form.

[nihilmancy]

[ It's... sliiightly faster now that they're holding hands? But she laughs. ]

Ah, I'm afraid that you've caught me. It's a figure of speech, you know.

I see. That does sound incredibly lovely.

I know. I'd rather earn a racing heart, anyway.

Shifting in public is usually more trouble than it's worth. Stares and gasps and people not minding their own business. But if you want to see it sometime, I'd be happy to.

You'll have plenty of chances to.

[ She grins. ]

In private then. Commotions can be so tiresome.

[ Saya takes a drink and watches Hlasoh over the rim of her cup ]

When might such a chance arise? I'll want to be ready for it.

Potentially after our walk, if that isn't too forward?

[ She lets her fingers play against the inside of Saya's wrist. ]

[sangreine]

[ Her smile shifts, and her eyes flash a brighter red, like the flames of her seasonal magic. ]

Not a bit. I can be patient that long, challenge though it is.

[nihilmancy]

[ Now her heartrate picks up a bit. Her tattoos glimmer a little brighter in the sun. She takes a sip of coffee, the bottom of her glasses fogging from the heat. ]

It needn't take very long, then. Though I shall enjoy the cool spring air, and the scent of flowers, I've no desire to delay something sweeter still.

[ Her smile deepens at that little heart flutter. Saya's fingertips move on Hlasoh's wrist, warming up pleasantly thanks to her Seasonal powers. ]

Hmm, a walk would be nice. Perhaps, while we walk, I can get you to imagine what I'll do when there's a closed door between us and the city. What sounds I might make. What's under this dress.

[nihilmancy]

[ A thrill passes through Hlasoh. She sucks her breath in sharply, and her cool expression softens. The blood pumps quicker. Her pupils dilate. She's very aware of how warm that hand is, against her skin. ]

You, just might. And... I wonder what you are imagining?

[sangreine]

[ Every single one of those reactions is a delight. Saya wonders what else she can get Hlasoh to do, later. Her eyes and smile say she's going to shoot the moon. ]

Me? [ She makes a show of taking a slow sip of espresso. ] Oh, I don't think that's fit for a public conversation.
