Other failure consequences you'd want to be involved in: Honestly, canon has this things where immortal characters will use their bodies to protect the killable mortals and I am for it for Red Son to just meat shield for some of the squishies. (This is also fine in a fetch quest tbh). Drain the boy of blood, have the anemic immortal, though I have no idea what mix of fire demonic and celestial blood would do to her, might be wild. Or other terrible things. If she does lose her memories, that would also be fun just because he'd be so upset and then he'd have to contend with Those Feelings because he's a tsundere fuck who pretends he doesn't care as much as he does.
