It's just a joke. If we were playing for points I'd have picked something where I don't press the wrong button at least half the time.

I always jump when I want to attack and vice versa. It just takes practice, I guess.

I never understood why people jump so much in fighting games
I don't jump in real life while I'm fighting

I actually do jump a lot when I'm fighting. Flips and all sorts of things. It makes me hard to hit.

Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I'm pretty strong for my size, but I don't have good reach, so I have to move around a lot to get an advantage.

Being good at moving around and fighting with my body clearly doesn't mean a thing when it comes to this game, though. [ since she's getting creamed by whatever hilarious chomping enemy ]

I think if being good at fighting and being good at video games were that closely connected
A lot fewer people would play video games

[They're probably both getting eaten by a chain chomp hazard. In his defense, it's really hard to write and play at the same time.]

[ Over to the dance pads! She'll let him pick the song, and then she proceeds to select the hardest setting for herself and absolutely crushes it. Musician + speed = this is her literal jam. ]

You should be, it's not an intuitive skill.

[ Um what to do while he recovers... walking to the next place seems premature if he's out of breath ] I could show you the trick to the claw machine before we go. It sure looks impressive, but it's not hard to learn.

Ahh thank you, he's adorable. He'll have a lot of plush company in my room. [ the stuffed pup gets a little kiss on the nose ] I love animals, but they're afraid of me, so I really like collecting these.

Let's see... I have some from my fanmail, like a cute bat and a plush of a dear friend of mine, I have some that people have given me that remind me of them -- some dragons I really treasure, fluffy wolves, a phoenix, a pink dinosaur -- some prizes from the amusement park...

If there's something you want, just look at the camera and ask for it. You could hold up your writing for the fans to read. Sometimes they listen, and it certainly can't hurt.
