[ She breaks into the BIGGEST GRIN. She's so filled with joy for him. ]

Would you look at that! Grab a set of those immediately. You'd look hot in any of them, in whatever form.

Heh. Never really thought of pierced ears as something that'd be convenient.

[ But he does. Have them. ] [ Okay, going to... start picking through them. It's hard not to just grab a set immediately without thinking about what he wants in terms of looks or practicality, but like. Dangly would be inconvenient for fights. ]

Definitely something you can fight in. That's why I don't wear jewelry, except my necklace. [ The one Doctor gave her in lieu of a ring. Can you imagine wearing a wedding ring while trying to dual wield a sword and sheath? ]

But you can always get more next time if you find you need more style choices.

[ Well, it'll probably show more in this moment, as he hesitates, before curling his fingers around the set and giving it a squeeze. Deep breath. Flashes her a smile before turning towards the register, ]

I'm sure Riki appreciates your restraint.

[ Although Saya doesn't understand his reaction all that well (possibly since shifting is part of her, not something she has to put forth specific effort to do), she knows not to press too hard. Encouragement yes, proverbial shoving no. And definitely no teasing. ]

I've been patient for way worse reasons.

[ Paying for them! He gets the stud in with very little difficulty, no need for a mirror, but the cuff takes more thought. Maybe... yeah, okay, put it on high on the ear, then tug it lower so it stays secure, and

(it'll probably take him a bit to figure out he can choose what he winds up looking like, because he's already picturing what he did look like, so)

well. That's — that. That's all it takes. Yuri barely feels different, but at the same time there's a very palpable... relief. Just holding onto the earring and knowing it's that easy to switch back. Back and forth. Just, whenever. Yeah.

His outfit today was obviously not planned for this, but there's nothing he currently owns that doesn't — actually work just as well on slightly more pronounced curves. Almost like that was a subconscious concern. ]

[ If she's hugging herself a tiny bit as she turns back to face Saya, well, it's not like a little extra support under her bust would go amiss at the moment. ]

[ Saya watches as Yuri fiddles with the earrings and then settles -- the change is subtle to watch, but lovely all the same. ]

[ Saya steps forward to slip an arm around her waist. ] We should find some privacy.

[ A soft snort, but the touch is — grounding. She puts a hand over one of Saya's, giving it a tentative squeeze, then shivers a tiny bit and just scoops her up. One quick spin, taut with energy. ]

Yeah. Okay.

[ She makes a delighted squeak when Yuri scoops her up. ]

Strong women are the best. Your place or mine? [ lol get it, they live at the same... you get it. ]

[ The squeak is rewarding, but so's the phrasing. Yuri pauses, gives her a squeeze, then sets her down. ]

Well, you'd know, wouldn't you.

[ Something something you're also strong but like, a tiny bit flustered and pleased. Turning away to tug Saya out of the shop. ]

Yeah, but I can't lift myself up. Unless you count flying.

[ Very happily tugged! ]

Fair enough.

[ ...He's missed everything about this, very much including the sound of her voice, damn. ] [ Out into the streets, and for a moment she genuinely doesn't remember which direction to go. Riki's Rewards Shop is in Nightwake, so Blossomcrown should be a straight shot from here, but she's just. A little overwhelmed.

You were planning on going all the way home first, right, ]

[ This is so goddamn cute, but she knows a lot better than to say so. ]

Mind a short flight? I want you a little closer than we can manage walking. [ Also it's a callback and who doesn't love those? ]

[ You can find her cute!! She'll get self-conscious, though, and probably a bit red. ]

...Flight's good. I'll have to put you down for it, though.

[ Her belly might've also clenched at the thought. Still a very far cry from what you'd call experienced in this body, and while she might've been legitimately too distracted by everything else to be thinking about the sexual aspect before this moment — well. She knows Saya's gonna show her a very good time. ]

Only for a second, then we'll be almost back where we started.

[ Saya shrugs off her jacket so her wings won't ruin it, and out comes the silvery harpy form. ]

C'mere, then, and we'll get going.

[at_heart]

[ The softest, softest laugh. Her voice is like that, higher, even if it's still deep and husky for a typical woman's. She's just. Missed every part of this so much.

And this time, the harpy form just gets an appreciative look. Winding her arms around Saya's neck, pressing in close. ]

Won't be quite the same, but the natives make it sound like we'll all be able to do some kind of partial shifting. Feathers, scales. Combinations.

[ Her forehead gently to Saya's. ]

I'll do my best to be a harpy with you.

[ ...There's a lot of nostalgia about that particular form. Not just because they had a lot of fun with it, either. Picking up a card and just coming out girlmode for no reason made him feel... nice.

Like maybe it wasn't all external forces? Or something. ]

[ Saya smiles when Yuri presses close, looking so -- at ease. Happy. That's all Saya wants for her. ]

I don't need all the flashy extras. But if it's fun for you, then of course I'll love it.

[ With that, she takes off and makes a near-beeline for their place. ]

I'm not sure I'll call this form a harpy, not that it makes a difference in the scheme of things. It's more a hybrid of my natural state and my human-appearing form.
