Thank you for checking up on him. I can tell you didn't say shit to him, he couldn't believe me when I told him that he's the only person I care about in that kind of way. I had to repeat myself a few times for it to set into that thick skull of his.

It's still weird to think about and talk about, but he's not annoying about it and that's what makes me happy. Everyone else I know would probably want to use the titles all the time or show me off or whatever, and I hate that shit.

Deku understands me like no one else does.

I'm not surprised. The way he was talking he thought he ruined things between you by having those feelings in the first place. Like I said, you probably had the broken nose coming... but I hope you got it fixed up, because you were just doing your best.

I don't think he wants much between you to change, which is the best way to deal with these things really.
If things weren't any good why would you even feel that way about each other? [ Saya also hates titles, they're just a necessarily evil sometimes. She tends to keep it vague with everyone except the one she's married to. ]

Yeah, he expressed to me that he felt like he needed to shove his feelings about me away. I can understand why, and I definitely would've rejected him basically any other time than now. I've never been comfortable with romance, and my parents weren't great role models so I didn't want to start my own family.

On top of that, in our society, it's legal for guys to marry each other but they can't pass on their Quirks to their kids. So same-sex couples still get a lot of judgement, as they're seen useless by a lot of assholes. It just felt weird to even think about.

But a lot of things have changed. And having to hold hands once a day kind of makes things different. I never held hands with anybody before coming here, and it feels wrong when I do it with anyone other than Deku. I've finally given up and accepted that I'm stuck with him until I die.

Which... I still think might be soon. But that's even more of a reason for me to just give up and do whatever feels right.

I know what it's like, being on a clock. Different situation I guess, but also being here doesn't help me, so it's probably six of one and half a dozen of the other. I hate that you're stuck in it too.
